Waking up I stand to greet the sun’s glorious rays
This powerful sight leaves an impression for days
And fills me with an energy that won’t soon depart
For it has dug itself in and made a home in my heart
It brings me such peace to see such a sight
I’m reminded that everything’s gonna be alright
With the sun on my face and the waves at my toes
There’s adventure in not knowing where life next goes.
