Once I was a tiny toddler like this one. Although I don't have any memory of that time, I know my mother cuddled me like this, too. But my mother remembers. She is getting old, with life becoming a burden rather than a gift. And I am getting busier everyday, with little time to talk to her, to inquire about her health and wellness. I am pretty sure she always remembers us - all her kids. Maybe that brings good memories to her, maybe she sheds tears.
