Built from scratch to finish with local hand held tools

It's a cool evening down here and am been moved to share one of my works with the wonderful steemit community.

As a trained medical technologist, it's my profession to build devices to make healthcare delivery more efficient in my locality.

This lead to the building of a digital laboratory incubator, which was fabricated with locally sourced materials.

The laboratory incubator is a device use to culture micro organisms for laboratory analysis.

This equipment works with an automatic temperature controller. Once switched on with a set temperature on the controller, the temperature in the chamber builds up until it gets to the set temperature and the machine automatically cut power to the heater which automatically stops the contineous building of temperature inside the chamber and when the temperature drops below the set temperature, the machine automatically restores power to the heater which automatically builds the temperature in the chamber to the set temperature again. This contineous process helps to keep the internal chamber at the set temperature until the equipment is turned off.
