Jesus did not suffer in vain

Jesus was not rebellious or turned back, but when the time came he gave his body to the smiters; So, Judas taking a company of soldiers, and alguazils of the chief priests and the Pharisees, went there with lanterns and torches, and with weapons. But Jesus, knowing all the things that were to come to him, came forward and said: Who are you looking for? They replied: Jesus Nazarene. Jesus said to them: I am, I know that Jehovah the Lord will help me, that is why I put my face like a flint, I have my eyes on the great reward that God will give me, and I know that I will not be ashamed.

Jesus, was despised and rejected among men, a man of sorrows, experienced in brokenness; and as we hid his face from him, he was despised and we do not esteem him.

In meditating on the sufferings of Christ the hearts of all the reborn are touched, because their sufferings are a living testimony of their infinite love for all, and constitute the foundation: of the eternal position of the righteous of all the redeemed before God, of the liberation of the power of sin and of all the blessings that the children of God enjoy in Christ, by faith.

Walking through this world, being in the condition of man: in his body he felt fatigue, hunger, thirst; he suffered violence and brutality from men who beat him and beat him mercilessly, until he was killed.

In his soul, he experienced the hatred and contempt of men; in the world he was and the world did not know him, he was finally abandoned even by his disciples. Jesus, for love endured everything, but the most terrible thing for Him was having to endure for three hours the abandonment of his Father, being without communion with his Father for three hours, drove him crazy.

God, you know my foolishness,
And my sins are not hidden from you. Psalm 69: 5

In his spirit, he felt the terrible wrath of God, his Father hid his face from Him. In the world He was in weakness, but always enjoyed perfect communion with his Father, that strengthened him to do His perfect will, because the communion with Him overcame all his pain.

On the cross it was different, there He was alone and cried with a loud voice: Save me, O God, because the waters have entered to the soul. I am sunk in deep mud, where I can not stand; I have come to deep water, and the current has drowned me. Tired of calling; my throat has become hoarse; My eyes have fainted, waiting for my God ... Psalm 69: 1-3, but he did not find an answer.

On the cross, the depths of his being were moved: body, soul and spirit suffered the great weight of sin, he wept until exhausted, his father hid his face from him because he could not look at his son made sin, at that moment his Father I could not help it. His cry did not find an answer until the resurrection. What love his! His foot never slipped, he did not hesitate at any moment, he affirmed his face like a flint and went to the cross, because he loved us.

Jesus came to fulfill the sacred Plan of his Father, suffered all kinds of aberrations, to achieve them, free us from sin and obtain for us eternal life. Now it is our responsibility to preserve ourselves in Grace, so as not to throw on the floor so much pain and suffering of our beloved Lord.
God take care of us and bless everyone.
Thanks for posting. I like this type of topics.

His grace is enough. We do not have the ability to touch or even add something to the cross. One of the phrases he said before entrusting himself to the Father was: "everything is finished", everything became perfect, nothing more to add.
Salvation is by faith, "the just shall live by faith," we need to grow to achieve that for which he reached us. Blessings! thanks for comment!
