A Minister of God

The Apostle Paul differentiating the priests in the Old versus the New Covenants gives us a bewildering meaning of what service is from God's point of view in nowadays of Christ. He says the priest of the New Covenant is a clergyman of the Spirit. What does this mean?

Service in a general sense implies serving others. However, Paul did not state here that the priest of Christ is one who serves others, however this would in any case be scripturally precise. Besides, also see he stated, "clergymen of the Spirit" here not "serving by the Spirit" which is also scripturally right!

Service, in the New Covenant, is bringing individuals to get or potentially go under the full impact of the Spirit of God to work in their lives, discharging divine blessings and charging otherworldly changes. The general population on the planet also serve others. The workers of God in the Old Testament served others. In this manner, however benefit is required and foundational in service today, it isn't the characterizing component of the priest of Christ. Our service in Christ is the service of the Spirit. Jesus condenses it to us in the words underneath

Whoever has faith in me, as the Scripture has stated, 'Out of his heart will stream waterways of living water'" (Jn. 7:38 ESV).

Streams of living waters spouting out from inside you to invigorate people around you! This is service, regardless of whether it spouts out through your proclaiming, educating, laying of hands or whatever you do that effects someone else!

Would you be able to explain the connection amongst benefit and the service of the Spirit examined previously?

Service of the Spirit will dependably be through demonstrations of administration. However, not all demonstrations of administration is service. A man can lecture, but not serve, if the proclaiming is bereft of the Spirit. An admirer pioneer may lead love but not serve. It isn't simply the administration or the mystique in the conveyance, but the Spirit that is served which has the effect in individuals' lives.

Ministry of the Spirit will always be through acts of service. However, not all acts of service is ministry.
