In a recent post made by the Facebook owner and CEO Mark Zuckerberg on Thursday, he stated that he's challenged himself this year to research cyrptocurrency in 2018. He said this is mainly going to focus on fixing Facebook problems that has caused controversy.

Zuckerberg has outlined two important areas of tech in which he would be researching which is encryption and cryptocurrencies. He said that both technologies led to decentralized power which he saw a a big and positive move and if he he's successful this year, then they'll be ending the year on a much better trajectory.

Zuckerberg isn't the only Facebook executive that has an interest in cryptocurrency as it was revealed that in December, Facebook Messenger boss David Marcus will be joining the board of Coinbase which is an exchange platform for cryptocurrency. He was formerly the president of PayPal before he got a position in Facebook in 2014.

In my own opinion, I think loyalty is the business in every dealing. If we ain't loyal to the steemit blockckchain then it is meant to be overthrown. Think about the good things that steemit has offered to us, ranging from the financial aspect to the educational aspect. Personally I have been helped in many ways.
I have been motivated by steemit that I can achieve what I want to, I am even writing these days better than I used to because of steemit, I have learnt a little bit of graphic designs through tutorials offered by @cryptogee, I have been encouraged by postings made by our very own @surpassinggoogle a lot but few to mention.

Let us keep the steemit platform steeming because,
