I woke up this more into something great and this turned the atmosphere around for me. As usual the first thing I do in the morning is to pick up my laptop, get connected and hit the steemit blockchain. Getting on steemit this morning, haven read the first post on my feed, i decided to drop a vote. It was like dream when a slider pop up, at first I didn't noticed it because it wasn't expected until I have cast my vote and saw the vote worth added, this got me wondering.

Trying to cast my second vote for the day came again the slider and this time I knew something is up. Visiting my wallet I saw a delegation of 1000 SP. As usual, when you receive an unexpected delegation on steemit, the first thing that comes into your mind is the guy @fulltimegeek or the #stewardsofgondor. I quickly reach to steemworld to confirm and my quest was right. I am now a #stewardsofgondor, this calls for celebration and popping of champagne.

A special thank you goes to the great steemian who has delegated to over 50 stewards on the steemit blockchain. An act many other top steemiains should emulate. He has the people and the future of steem at heart, giving out huge delegation at no cost or returns is something we must commend him for. The Big Question; What Do I DO With This Delegation?

With more SP come more responsibilities, like the popular saying;

To whom much is given, much is expected.

I will do what I have been doing but this time I'm gonna do more, because I'm more empowered , with more voting capacity and more bandwidth, thanks to @fulltimegeek for considering me worthy to me among his stewards. I have to maintain more engagement with at most one post or non a day. I will keep this pace so as to have more time to engage with other users on steemit.

Here are my plans for steemit with the delegation received;

• More Vote; With the delegation comes more vote worth and with a slider which make upvoting and spreading of vote more easier. I will spread my votes to more authors and most especially to comments, this will help build more engagements in posts. In less than 24 hours of receiving this delegation, I have made over 150 upvotes, of which many are to comments. This will ensure more users benefit from the delegation I have received.

• More Comment; I have always believe commenting is a key on the steemit blockchain. I have also blog about this in the past. As a #stewardsofgondor, I will up my game in commenting, so as to build a following and community around me. In the last 24 hours, I have made over 50 comments in different blogs, this value will grow in the coming days to about 100.

• Less Self Vote; Delegations is not to vote self but to support others, I will reduce my percentage of self vote, so as to have more upvote to reward others. I will only upvote my post and that's once or non a day. With this, my votes will go to support others rather than self.

• Paying it forward; I currently have my own SP of approximately 400SP, I will follow the lead of @fulltimegeek and some other stewards (@abh12345, @wwf, @coolguy123, @goldendawne...) to delegate some of my SP out to support other community projects. I will be delegating 200SP of mine out to others in the coming days, this will also increase as my SP increase in the future. I'm currently reviewing some community to delegate to.
