Building Character

I guess anyone can say that character building takes life training. It is not easy build a character but once it is built you can stretch it and make it move. A character can be put in a variety of situations and make expressions beyond the average person.

Finally after doodling on the sketch pad I came up with this kid called Sticky. He tries to keep his hair perfect and wears soccer shoes on all occasion. Sticky tries real hard to do what is right but always manages to be misunderstood.

I drew Sticky using a UGEE drawing pad and an open source program called Krita. It takes a while to find the right brushes for each project. In this case I chose markers. It will take some practice before my hand and eyes get coordinate and I understand the drawing program. There are tons of features. In the meantime I will publish my progress every day. I hope you like Sticky. I have managed to manipulate him digitally.

I had fun playing with Sticky today. I'm looking forward to giving him a friend to play with. Any suggestions?
