Common buzzard

The common buzzard is one of the most common European raptors. An opportunistic predator feeds on a wide range of prey, mainly small mammals, like rodents such as voles. It is easy to see it perched, often to the sides of highways or soaring like the picture above. I hope you enjoy my first post, photo free to use.
