Creating a Virtual Portfolio of UK Shares - GOR

I’m learning about investing and starting a virtual portfolio of UK shares to purchase for short-to medium term trading.

Gordon Dadds (GOR) looks an interesting company to buy shares in. It has steadily increased in value since the beginning of the year. Originally a law firm it has been acquiring other companies under the Gordon Dadds brand over the past year or two.

Gordon Dadds Group plc (formerly Work Group plc) is an acquisitive London based legal and professional services business with a twin track consolidation model to integrate mid-market law firms under its Gordon Dadds brand, and to acquire smaller firms who continue to trade under their own name via its Prolegal acquisition vehicle.

According to Simply Wall Street this company is significantly undervalued at £1.73 with an about right target of £4.87.

All equities are dropping in value today, so it could be a good time to buy, although the trend looks set to continue throughout the week.

This share fell 2.18% today.

It raised an impressive £20 million as shares hit the London Stock Exchange in its initial public offering (IPO) last summer.

It now has a market cap of £48.96 million, according to Google Finance, but with only approximately 15 trades today, this means it is not a very liquid share to get involved in.

This share is listed on the AIM index, which is for low market cap companies and generally much riskier than investing in companies on the London Stock Exchange.
