The Stoic Warrior Code of Honor
I will hold virtue above all else. I will celebrate virtue in art, science, literature, and health.
If I see fraud, and do not say "Fraud!", then I join in the fraud. I will not join in fraud.
I will seek wisdom for wisdom's sake and bask in the logical glories of physics and geometry.
Like the Pythagoreans, Seneca, and Aurelius, I will greet the sunrise and celebrate Nature's beauty. I will honor Nature alongside the Ancients--Socrates and ancient rocks, trees, and stars alike.
I will act with courage, and not fear speaking Truth to Power and calling out liars.
I will treasure Justice, and via Courageous Action, I will see it on through.
I will celebrate Temperance by celebrating beauty but not lasciviousness nor gluttony. Moderation in all things.
I will be honest and deal fairly with all.
I will treat others as I wish to be treated.
I will stoically and courageously defend the innocent against liars, frauds, and bullies.
