Short story telling

Once a guy was on a trip in a town for a job interview. While going to this town one day earlier in order to get well prepared and in shape for the scheduled appointment he got a call from the responsible to inform him that the interview was cancelled. The reason given was that there were implementation issues with the company´s partners and that the hiring would be postponed to a few months later. The guy had no possibility to cancel his trip so he had to make the trip anyway. Needless to say that his feelings were challenged by the news and he had to improvise a plan for the morning in question. He did not really like the town, everything was negative to his opinion and he could not enjoy the stay as he wanted.

So as arrived he went to the hotel in order to check-in and get in the room reserved for him. He rested a little bit and after an hour he went out to visit the town. He did not find much point of interest for him so that he knew that the journey would not be great.

On the very next morning he went on to visit the soccer stadium of the town in order to replace the cancelled scheduled interview. As he sat in the Tramway, not named desire ;-), he was one of two guests remaining in the wagon during some stations. The guy was just looking for the environment around and felt an eye on him. He did everything he could to avoid it since he thought that starting a conversation with that person would lead to something. He thought that he had to be true to another person in a different location. The other person remaining in that train was a woman with red hairs, actually not a bad looking one and probably a nice person to talk with. The guy thought to himself "When will we reach the last station?". So the guy was really busy trying not to get eye contact with the woman in the belief that he would be true to another one. Arrived at the station they climbed out of the tram and the guy went into a direction and she in another one. The woman turned her head into the guys direction while there was already a certain distance and than looked into the direction she had to go to. The guy was kind of relieved that no contact took place but it left him wonders.

I do not know what the status of this people now is but I guess there was a missed opportunity for one of both sides. Sometimes the arch of cupidon can hit everywhere and people who are in a truncated situation make wrong decisions. That was probably the guy´s case.

He travelled back home the very next day as he was also very busy with the cancelled interview purpose. But his journey might have had another purpose which he missed out.
