A Strange Experience in the Past

I had my appendix operated when I was in 4th standard. I never had any such problem or pain before. It was all sudden. After 14 years now, I still remember that strange story.

My father was admitted in hospital already. We went to take him home on the night he was going to discharge from the hospital. Mom and dad were in the hospital room waiting for the last dose of medicine. We siblings went to the lounge where we found a company of two brothers and their uncle. One of the brothers started telling his story that how his appendix got operated. He told that they were three siblings. One night their uncle dreamed that he brought three fish home, cut open one and cleaned it by taking out the guts. He continued that the very next day I was taken to the hospital, was cut open and got my appendix removed exactly the way his uncle dreamed of.

I started feeling pain in my lower abdomen the moment he finished his story. I went to the hospital room where my mom and dad were and lied down on the bed. Father got discharged and we returned home. My pains started getting intense. Father immediately took me to that hospital again when I started vomiting. My tests were taken and diagnosed with appendicitis. The very next day I was operated too.

I wonder if that boy’s uncle’s dream, his operation, the story I heard from him then my operation is linked in some mysterious way !!
