Title: Your Smile Beyond Twilight
(Available in Steam for about 2$)

So I just finished this visual novel for about 2 hours.

Art: 5/5
First of all, let's look at the art. So beautiful and well-made. The female character designs aren't over sexualized (you know, like those with oversized bewbs and stuff). Although sometimes the expressions don't match the emotion of the voice, but still, it's enough to satisfy me. (I wanted more CG's though...)

Plot: 5/5
Wow. Just....wow. Amazing storytelling. I'm a big fan of romance/drama genres and I'm picky when it comes to plotlines. At first, I thought it was a cliche` story where the plot goes off the mark but, damn, everything took me by surprise. I really like how the author decently mixed supernatural within a realistic story. The storytelling doesn't feel forced or hurried, despite the short time it was delivered. And, holy sh*t, that ending. Man, I felt goosebumps and I almost cried.

Even if it's a bit too short, the message of the author was really conveyed clearly to the readers.

Music: 5/5
The transitions, the emotions they give off, the catchy rhythms...all perfect. The music matches the situations, the settings and the atmosphere without intervening my focus while reading. Just listening to Track 01 makes me remember all about the maiden, as if I am the protagonist myself.

Voice acting: 4/5
I don't understand chinese language for I don't speak it so forgive me. But I thought the acting was a bit stiff at the first part. Just at the first part though. But as I gradually played through, I started to properly feel the emotions that were injected slowly becoming better. Especially during the dream part and the ending. The last line almost broke my heart, both by reading it and by listening to the voice.

All in all, I would definitely recommend this visual novel! Especially to those people that are new to the tag. This is a good start to make you hooked to other visual novels for it's short and light to read. (You'll feel heavy after that, though.)

As for the author's message, I believe we have different interpretations but this is what all I have to say:

"Moving on is not simply about forgetting. It's also about acceptance..to be in good terms with your feelings. One can only move forward by looking back."
