                                    OUR BLOCKSHOWASIA STORY

My name is Mustapha Cole. I am a native and resident of Sierra Leone, and am involved in many projects aimed at uplifting our community and Philip Agyei Asare a Ghanaian Brother and business Associate who have been operating Dream Bitcoin Foundation and BtcGhana for some years now. Dream Bitcoin Foundation is a non Profit Organization dedicated to educating the young Entrepreneurs of the Country on how they could sell their products and Services to the International market in exchange for a Crypto Currency and BtcGhana is a remittances platform built on top of the Mobile System in Africa to help those in the Diaspora to send Funds to their family and friends no matter their location as Mobile Money vendors can be located even in the Rural parts of the country thereby helping those unbanked get access to international remittance without taking cars to the city.  

The Motivation


We have heard stories of how young people are living in their parents' basement, not able or not willing to get out into the competitive world, preferring to have as much as possible just handed to them, simply because they want it. You have also heard of those across the world who understand that working and trading and creating and producing are the honest and proper means of existing in this world, and even profiting. we aim to be from this latter group of people.

One of the most significant problems we face in Africa is a lack of effective leadership, innovators and technology idea  of problem-solving. We are still relying on old methods to solve problems, both old and new. We need a new generation of thinkers and a different approach to solving problems. This is what motivates us to do what we can help to change things in the African continent. We come from an impoverished background 

The Premise


A friend connected us  to an event called the BLOCKSHOWASIA, known as window To the Global Blockchain World, in Singapore, RWS Sentosa, and the main goal of BlockShow Asia 2017 is to build the bridge between Asian and Global Markets and the new way, and to use readily available technology to solve problems around the world.
Its overall theme is achievable only in collaboration with the brightest experts within the global my friend attended and has used what he learned about Blockchain at this program to make a difference in the world. He now provides new ideas every day through his show on Blockchain seeing his results, I was late to apply the last conference


Lucky enough this 2017, I spoke with the Organizer and CEO of the company and head of the event Addy Crezee that told me that he will give me the ticket and the conference ticket for free as me and Philip Agyei Asare have applied again and have accepted an offer to be one of the speaker’s on the program for this year, 2017. The real cost of attending, however, is plane fare for two of us. We are ambitious young men from a poor country in West Africa. Even with our poverty, we see that Sierra Leone and Ghana is a good place to start an African movement for Bitcoin and Blockchain and host BlockShow, a movement for bringing the world together in doing safe money transfer without involving the banks. By helping us, you can have a direct impact in helping to bring liberty to Sierra Leone, to Africa, to the world.
