TOOTH OPERATION

Ok as most of you have seen I had to fix my teeth, so this is why I am in Latvia. So not only i did nearly miss my flight, my operation lasted 4 hours, i really didn't enjoy it! it was one of the worst things ever. They kept pulling my mouth, drilling, poking, apparently my mouth kept bleeding, i just was lying there and dreaming about the beach and sun and sea. I dont know i had anastesia put in so i feel no pain, but now its wearing off and the pain is really kicking in. Gosh this is the worst day ever. I am alone, im cold, im in pain and I have to fly back to London tomorrow.

I am not sure the trip here worked out cheaper, in fact it was probably the same. Lets look at the costs:

Train to the airport = 20 pounds

Flight Ticket = 130 pounds

Taxi to dentist = 7 pounds

Dentist procedures = 550 pounds

Taxi back to airport = 7 pounds

Train back home to London = 20 pounds.

Total costs to fix my tooth = 734 pounds ( thats a lot of SBD)

I really think teeth are such a problem and they are the most expensive!!!! Instead of christmas presents now, i paid for my tooth! Oh well! Hopefully the pain will go away soon. Hopefully you all take good care of your teeth, mine just been messed up since i was a child. :(  I should better go to sleep soon, before the ibuprofen wears off.

Hope you get better soon! I know what its like - I have no teeth anymore. Now I'm happier than I was when I had permanent trouble with them.
Is dental treatment not covered by the NHS? At least partly?

@allasyummyfood Yes the pain will go away. You will also have more SBD soon.

yes i know just annoying! hope it goes away soon!!

I’m getting a root canal and crown put on tomorrow. I’m so nervous! I love your Steemit!

my recommendation is to take cinnamon. its also serves as a pain killer like ibuprofen but no side effects like other medication. there is scientific link for that.

Man, tooth ache is pretty YUK. I have a tooth that I know I am going to need to sort out pretty soon but I keep delaying it. I tell myself I have no time but really, I KNOW I don't want to handle the pain of getting it sorted out . Well done you for popping over to Latvia to get yours done. I am not sure how much it costs here but surely you saved some money.

All the best.

That was great estimates

In Bulgaria it costs me around 55BGN to fix a tooth. 80BGN for a complex operation.

55BGN is about 2.5 SBD 80 3.5SBD.

I can pay my phone bill for 2 SBD :D

Hopefully the price stays high <3 never the less everything I get goes to SP for now.

All the best with your tooth, I got 2 to fix so I know the pain :(Much love <3

So sorry about the pain, glad your surgery went well

This post has received gratitude of 1.00 % from @jout

Our teeth are such an important part to our health. That price is outrageous though but is the cost to keep our well being going top notch. Wish you all the best @allasyummyfood

I know how awful is to have a tooth problem. Hope you feel better soon. And you will.

Feel better soon!

I have to fix my teeth too...lol...I'm scared since now...
and I wish god could think more for a better creating idea about teeth...

Oh my Alla! Hugs and prayers. Teeth are expensive but a necessity.

thanks so much !!!

OUCH! I hope you feel better soon <3

Oof-da! I remember getting my wisdom teeth out, so I empathize -- it's no fun at all! Just remember that a lot of people out here are sending healing wishes your way.

Anesthesia was a really good invention otherwise no one would ever go to a dentist.Sorry for that expensive 4 hour procedure, hopefully the pain will be gone and it will heal well :)

It was a lot of disaster you went through this morning! Rest well and take a really good sleep and recovery! xxxxxx

I feel ya! I just had a root canal...the root canal doesnt hurt since your numb. My canals wouldnt stop bleeding so they didnt want to fill them that day. So they covered it with some medicinal stuff and go back in 10 days.
Part 2 -again...numb so I didnt feel anything. After about an hour of doing cleaning, measuring and fillin the roots I was done. They built up the rest of my tooth until appt. 3 for the day i get the crown.
I knew I was going to be sore after the novacaine wore off. I think my was super sore since it was 2 visits. This second visit was on Monday morning. Tuesday when I bit down a certain way I would feel the most excrutiating pain you could imagine. I started taking ibuprofen and as the days went by i could feel the swelling going down and then owwwwww!!! It would happen once or twice a day. I should have called them sooner than i did but was hoping it would just go away even though i knew it wouldnt. I went into the weekend with this. Then it happened on Saturday. I wasnt even eating or talking I just closed my mouth wrog..it hurt so bad I almost threw up.
Monday morning I finally called. I wish I didnt wait so long. The build up was just a touch too big so it was hitting first. Man what relief and I can finally eat again!!!
Other than that it wasnt a big deal!

Can i resteem your blog?

Some people says that teeth pain is worst than labor pain. I have experienced teeth pain back in 2005 and that was a very bad time for me. So I can better understand your condition dear @allasyummyfood. Get well Soon. Christmas is on the head. So my all best wishes are for you. Stay blessed!

yeah I experience teeth pain every 6 months! :( thanks i hope so!

I hope you recover well. Eating liver will help build up your mineral content in your teeth. Keep them nice and strong.

omg @allasyummyfood i didn't know you underwent a surgery.. how are you now? I wish you speedy recovery ! gotta get better before the christmas feast ! <3

Ouch😫😫😫 sorry love..
