Two toes shy of the Guinness Record, abused kitten Biscuit came into our lives a tiny three week old ball of cuddling fluff. Skinny, but with huge feet, as an adult now she can jump six feet up.
Biscuit enjoys biscuits and muffins, taking long walks on thin pipes, and using her six opposable thumbs to open latches and sneak treats to the other rescues. Her current project is figuring out how to operate the window latch.

Poltdactyl cats are also known as Hemingway cats. Author Ernest Hemingway fell in love with them, and his estate has been a dedicated home for the extra toed wonders. There are currently about 50 being treated like royalty at the Hemingway House.
Most Polydactyl cats don't mind and even enjoy water. This is believed by many to be because early immigrants to America brought these felines on the ships to eradicate rats, choosing the extra toed kind because of the extra balance their larger feet offer on deck in stormy seas.
Cats normally have 18 toes, five on front and six on back paws. Biscuit has eight digits on each front (three thumbs each) and six each on her back.

Biscuit is the inspiration for an episodic series centering around a kitten who is discarded onto the streets and the adventures and hardships she must endure.
She also enjoys "helping" me write.

Sounds like a dating profile :P I actually never counted my cats toes... Next time they jump on my lap, I will do just that.

Awe! We have a pair of special needs siblings we raised from three days old who ended up becoming a part of the family. The boy, Bob Marley cuz he's so chill, decides once or twice a day to become "BabyMan". No matter what I am doing he climbs atop me and plops on his back into the crook of my arm, and just purrs and purrs! His sister, Gizmo, has a hormonal imbalance so does not do much all day, but when she wants the lovin's she is my headbutter :) And she wont stop until SHE'S had enough lol
