Better vocab butter builder!

This popped up on my YouTube recommendations. It's a set of stories that I forgot about. I read some of it when I was a kid and I think it contributed to my vocabulary. I'm struck again by how well the author uses a rich variety of words to build vivid descriptions. If you've got a tween or teen avid reader, that likes fantastic and spooky tales, this would be a good body of work for them to enjoy that will definitely build their vocabulary in a way that will make their writing better and probably help them in standardized tests. If they like listening to stories instead of reading them, this is a good compilation with a good reader. This author was a friend of HP Lovecraft but the stories are not as dark.
