One Night Stand

​She opens her eyes to an unfamiliar place. The wine from the night before half drunk on the table and her clothes strewn across the floor. She makes her way from the bed to the bathroom and tries hard to get the smell of his cologne off her. The woman looking at her in the mirror is not the same from the night before. She stares quietly at her reflection and questions every decision she made the night before. But this has happened more than once. She would be at the bar smiling innocently and a man would set his sights on her. A few more drinks down and laughter turns to caressing. By the end of the night their hands are searching hungrily for each other. She shuts her eyes and draws in a deep breath. Images flashing wildly. The stumbling and kissing. Opening a new bottle of wine and becoming increasingly honest. The slow movement, her hands reaching and removing every piece of clothing. They move into the bedroom where the deed is done and fall fast asleep in each others arms.

She finally snaps out of her delusion and moves out of the bathroom. It's time to clean up the mess of the night before. The same way she has done every time she goes hunting. She reaches into her bag to remove gloves and an industry grade cleaning agent. She looks lovingly at the bed where her prey sleeps. Usually she finishes them midway but she let him completely enjoy himself before it was over. She smiles as she looked at the blood, it always aroused her, he was a special catch, it was a pity she had to kill him.
