SQUASH

He lived
Breathed
Played
And ate
Squash

He was
Just one
Soul

One of many
Squashed away

By the many voices
Of the world

His lungs were
Squashed by
His tiny torso

And left him struggling to breathe

He didn’t like

Tennis

He preferred squash
And so he played it

His mum
Forced him

To eat all sorts
Of funny things

Squash, one of them

He lived
Breathed
Played
And ate
Squash
