I've no idea why, but this will be my third 50 word composition devoted to horses. Go figure.

My thwarted prize dam is nuzzling the donkey next door through the wires. She slipped her stall in heat, heading for the nearest relief.
Thank God, good neighbors make good fences.

Yes, I keep plugging away here... and also have had good news in the last few months, a really good and enjoyable tech gig that, thank Jesus, has put me back on a reasonable financial footing after about a year-long very dry spell.
