Un día como hoy en Cádiz, España murió Francisco de Miranda quien fue el precursor de la Independencia Hispanoamericana, esto se llevó a cabo en la Prisión de La Carraca a causa de una apoplejía.

Miranda fue protagonista de varios eventos históricos, entre ellos está la Revolución francesa y la Independencia de los Estados Unidos siendo así uno de los personajes más brillante de aquella época,
Tuvo que cumplir una condena ejercida por los tribunales de España tras ser acusado de traición por firmar en 1812 un armisticio, no logró terminar la condena pues falleció antes de eso.
yo añadiria que lamentablemente fue entregado por el propio Bolivar y los patriotas por considerar que estaba traicionandolos, pero en realidad estaba tratando de buscar un acuerdo con Monteverde para evitar más muertes, buen post por la precisión de la fecha y los acontecimientos relatados, saludos
