Hi guys I am back with my new post and todays topic is going to be a little interesting because this story is based on a true story. The story starts with a Russian cat has become a local hero for saving an abandoned infant from freezing to death.
Masha, a stray, long-haired tabby, has been taken care of by residents in the city of Obninsk. Winters in Russia are among the harshest on our planet. On one cold day, Masha was going about her business when she came across a cardboard box. Naturally curios, Masha checked inside the box and found something extremely shocking.
An infant was left, abandoned in the freezing cold. Immediately, Masha's maternal instincts kicked in, and she knew that the baby was in danger. She wrapped her fluffy body around the baby to keep him warm. Then she started to meow as loudly as she could to draw the attention of someone who could help.
Fortunately, Lavrova, a nearby resident, heard Masha's meowing. At first she thought it was odd that the friendly neighborhood cat wasn't coming out to greet her as usual. Concerned that Masha might be injured, Lavrova followed the urgent calls. When she reached the box, she could hardly believe her eyes: Masha, the cat, with a tiny baby in her charge.
Judging by the few jars of food and some diapers left next to the baby, Lavrova realized he had been abandoned by his parents, and she quickly alerted authorities. The ambulances came but Masha was not allowed to get in. Masha ran after the car and followed it to the hospital.
"She was so worried where we were taking the baby", Lavrora said of the cat. There she waited hours for the baby to return. Inside the hospital, the baby was checked and cared for and expected to be doing very well.
Since then, Masha has been celebrated as a hero and treated to all her favorites foods. How could one ever forget a cat like her who gave so much! (Compassions felines like Masha certainly prove wrong the popular opinion that the cats are uncaring creatures! )
What can we say? Animals are not just a creatures that live a like human but they do have a heart and the feeling that they have inside them.

I have heard about this cat in the past. There are so many examples of many pets that saved humans. I was thinking to make a post with this kind of examples. Great story!
