Care for people or Self-Accumulation?: Humanism

Dear Steemians/Readers

It seem that our generation of leaders have been carried away by the politics I called greed and self-accumulation which were not like before with which those great man fought for, then their primary assignment was to struggle and meet the needs of suffering citizens but nowadays reversed is the situation/case.

From the dictionary definition of humanism; The study of humanities or the liberal arts; or an ethical system that centers on humans and their values, needs, interests, abilities, dignity and freedom; especially used for secular one which rejects theistic religion and superstition
The true test of the leader’s should be commitment to serve the people, the wiliness to submit themselves to a lifestyle audit, whereby there priorities and their weakness would be open to public scrutiny.

I wonder in this contemporary world if we can boldly said “Our Leader” are not after luxury lifestyle and self-centered ambitious or self-accumulations of wealth. A true leader will definitely offers its peoples selfless service but so sadly today, it is other way round as self-gratification and most leaders are living away from its people which has brought about moral degeneration and leading to the killing of a progressive political movement from the inside. Most contemporary leaders tends to forget that they are part of this people once before; but immediately they assumed offices, they misused the power and authority on the same peoples who voted/elected them to be their leader.

Leaders are to represent the interests of its people’s, fighting for what could benefits its community and society at large, but instead the fight for materialistic and self-accumulation has make some leaders to loss their foresight, don’t get me wrong, to acquired wealth is not a bad things, nobody ever wish to die poor, but the case of some of our contemporary leaders are different, they want everything revolve around them and their family and careless about people well-being, community were facing a lot of hardship but our contemporary leaders will show no care, but living a luxury while people are dying of hungers, leader should lead by example and proof wrong those who doubt his ability to represent them well, the worst part are those community who fought hard to support their own so as to represent their interest and to speak out their minds, but immediately they assumed office, he/she will dance to the tone of greedy and self-accumulator lifestyle.

Life expectancy of the people are worsen day in day out, yet no action was taken, what we heard and seen on medias are; Thousand Dollars, Millions Dollars, Billions Dollars and Trillions, this had me meditate a lot what future really hold for us be a good change or worsen than before? If things could worsen at this time, what do we expect from our leaders in years to come, a change of heart to care for suffering? Or more greedy and self-accumulating lifestyle? If we elected a man/women to represent our interest or to speak out the mind of its suffering people and such fellow turns her back against same people who choose him/her to represent them, will that attract any consequences, or let me say it this way, is there a reward for any leaders who failed its people or disappoint them all?

As I early wrote in the above, the true test of the leader’s should be commitment to serve the people, find a solution to the problems, and the wiliness to submit themselves to a lifestyle audit, whereby there priorities and their weakness would be open to public scrutiny, hardly you could find those leaders who were not self-accumulating of wealth, but fighting for the interest of public, such leaders are not easy to come by.

Many leaders thought they could get away with their bad attitude towards their peoples, mostly the politicians leaders of our contemporary world, some of them behaves with the mind none has power to stop them, but there is a saying that “Every Action attract rewards, be it good or bad” do you think “KARMA” could visit this powerful peoples as well?
