Gigantes ( gigants) are humanoid creatures of prodigious size and strength, legendary beings that appear in stories of very different races and cultures. They are often violent and are often said to eat humans, especially children. Others, however, are friendly and intelligent, like the giants of Oscar Wilde.
The difference in size has been a way of emphasizing the importance of certain characters so much as to denote them as monstrous beings, albeit in human form. References to giants abound in ancient mythology. The giants also feature in a large number of fairy tales and folk tales, as in Pulgarcito.
There are also in reality people who are extremely large and who have been able to take advantage of that characteristic as great athletes.
Un this time I stay with the white walkers and the giant "The Game of thrones".
