Day 6 - 5:30am - Friday Dec 15
Well I have decided to break camp this morning and make my way to RR 217. Once I get to Morse River I hope to get catch some fish and maybe make contact with some people. Also seeing as how it’s a river I will be able to easily refill my water supply. I am hoping it’s only a two or three day walk from here. But am not 100% sure where here is.
I wonder how my friends are making out. Most of them don’t even own warm clothing let alone could figure out how to survive in this cold. I feel as though there is a lot of suffering people out there.
So I will check my trap line and rig out my camp and try to move. I just hope that the sleds will go through the deep snow. If not it’s going to be a long winter! Very long!
It seems like writing in my book is keeping me sane. It has kept me from opening my Faraday Box and checking those supplies. It’s just, am nervous about opening the box, whatever caused this is it still happening or is coming back around again. Nope I will hold off opening it till I find out what has happened or at least have a better understanding.
P.S. Today was my dead line for a major incident investigation I have been working on for almost 2 months. Well I guess no one will be at the office waiting for the report and no one will care either.
