Although his performance in the saga of 'Harry Potter' earned him worldwide recognition, many are unaware that actor Daniel Radcliffe suffers from a strange illness that mainly affected his childhood.
Dyspraxia, is the name of the disorder that suffers the English actor of 27 years and from which he has become his spokesman in order that the unknown pathology has greater recognition in the world.
In several interviews, Radcliffe confessed that during his childhood he had trouble writing and even tying his laces.
"He never stopped me; And some of the smartest people I know have learning disabilities. The fact that some things are more difficult will only make you more determined, you work harder and you are more imaginative to find solutions to problems, "he confessed in an interview.
The developmental disorder of motor coordination (TDCM), as its scientific name, causes disorders in the movements and motor incoordination that can affect from emotional development to the pronunciation of words.
Writing, combing, or biking are activities that people who are suffering from the disorder may be slow or difficult to overcome.
"Children with dyspraxia may behave in an immature way, although they usually have an average intelligence or above average," said José Luis Etcheverry, a neurologist at the Instituto de Neurociencias Buenos Aires (INEBA).
Radcliffe, who confessed that he was suffering from the disorder in 2008 when he was already involved in 'Harry Potter', stressed that this condition is not an impediment to progress in life.
