How my Cat Lost her Tail

After bringing our dogs in from a walk, my girlfriend and I discovered one of them chewing on a fluffy black object. I told him to drop it and examined the object. I thought it was part of a black, feathered cat toy. It was furrier than a feather though. I flipped it over and saw blood. We immediately began looking for the only black and furry anything this could belong to….THE CAT!!! We locked the dogs up in the cage and tried to find the cat. Nowhere to be found! Finally found the cat outside. Well, it turns out that when we came back with the dogs, the cat was hiding behind the couch and slid past us through the open door. The tip of her tail somehow got caught under the door and like a guillotine, chopped it OFF! WHAT!?!?! So the cat is back home healing after an expensive trip to the vet.. Keep this in mind if your cat is an escape artist.
