Chidinma was very happy as she said yes blushing uncontrollably, everyone around clapped their hands as he hugged her passionately.
Chidinma returned home and her Aunt noticed an engagement ring on her hand, she called her and said what are we celebrating dear, she smiled and replied I just got engaged today Ma.
Her Aunt was really happy, she asked her to call her fiance, she immediately put a call through to him and her Aunt asked when he will come say hello to her to which he replied as soon as possible ma, whenever Chidinma is ready I am ready as well.
Her Aunt quickly said, what is she doing she is ready anytime.
He took Chidinma home the next day and his family members were so happy to see her, she is indeed pretty his mum said and lovely as well his dad added.
They were both just cool together and his parents asked that the wedding preparation should commence immediately.
Some weeks later they fixed a date for the introduction ceremony, it was not really a large party but it was a remarkable one indeed, the grooms family were ready to spend anything on their child and Chidinma's uncle as well gave all the support that was required.
The introduction ceremony turned out well and the both families were really happy for their children and themselves. Chidinma's parents came from the village and they were so amazed at how much their daughter had achieved, they remained really grateful for everything her uncle had done for her and they wish there was a way they could just repay him and his family but all they could do what to pray for him with the whole of their strength and mind.
