These legends are quite strong in the European continent, countries such as Austria and Germany believe that Krampus exists, these sides have an event called "Krampusnacht", this would be the ritual of the malevolent demon, where he goes through the streets at night sounding some bells, simulating the sound of Santa Claus, but the Krampus does not have reindeer, he carries with him some long chains which are dragged along his route, warning around him that he comes to look for children who have done terrible things, causing panic and terror to those who hear it, the few who have experienced their terror manifest seeing a malevolent being of great height, with two large horns and a long tongue of bloody color.

In some countries of Europe the Krampus became a tradition, on December 5 and 6 many people disguise themselves as this demon, performing a simulation of the Krampusnacht, with the purpose of terrorizing and traumatizing those children who behave badly, sometimes they go to the extremes of putting them in the bags they carry on their backs, making these infants believe that the time has come for their end, that they will be removed from their homes and that they will be a feast, destroying their illusions, making them believe that they will not be there again. with your parents or relatives.

It may be that this is just an urban legend, or a story created by certain people, the fact is that the origins of Krampus are quite old as well as Santa Claus, his appearance over the centuries has been modified, perhaps by the fact that he is a demon can change his appearance, in order to keep his original form completely anonymous, it is used to torment many children and young people on Christmas Eve causing him traumatism and indescribable fear. Be good or the Krampus will come for you!
