Infidelity Games was as graphic and intense as I’d care to write at the moment. It was an experiment to see how far I can take a one handed read without it becoming stale.

Andromeda, before that, was soft core and erotic.

But now, here is a different piece of writing. I call it porn, hence here is Porn.

The man came home to his apartment and immediately locked and latched his door. He put his coveted grocery bag on the kitchen table and ran to draw the shades. Only once he had his due privacy, did he return to the brown paper bag. He almost salivated as he parted the top and reached in for his treasures.

He pulled out an apple and held it in his trembling fingers. It was firm — rock hard, in fact. Green, with a touch of sun-kissed gold: none other than a crisp, tart Granny Smith. He was ready to sink his teeth in right away, hardly able to control himself. Yet, he was patient. From that illicit brown paper bag he next pulled out a soft juicy peach. Oh yes, the golden juices waiting to devoured. He loved it when he could have two at a time.

Placed on the table, side by side, he compared them, studied them. One firm and tart. The other soft and sweet. Without warning, he grabbed that green apple and pulled it to his mouth. He heard the cracking sound of the apple on the first bite: like thunder, like an earthquake. Then the tart juices filled is mouth as they played over his taste buds. He chewed that first mouthful sending more flavor to his receptors on his tongue. He was in divine heaven for a moment. He swallowed every bit of that mouthful.

Then came the second bite, and the third. Alas, soon he finished that apple, leaving a discarded core as the only memory. He felt a tinge of longing as he chucked the core into the trash. But then there was the peach anxiously waiting her turn.

Oh how patient she must have been. Maybe watching in anticipation for her turn. Maybe a bit voyeuristic. Be patient, my sweet delicious edible, he thought. But the peach didn’t have long to wait.

The sweet, delicious natural juices flowed across his tongue as the peach nectar gushed forth, surrendering its flavors on her first bite. They dripped down his chin and fingers, running all the down his arm to his elbow.

The man couldn’t wait. He took a second, then third bite And in a frenzy, the peach, too, was gone. Leaving just the pit. This was a peach to remember for all time. He’d save the pit and plant it in the back yard.

Although sated, he still licked every last drop of her juices off his fingers. His tongue even traced the sweetness down his arm, leaving nothing to waste. He swallowed the last of it longingly.

Yes, he was full for the moment, sated, satisfied. But there was the rest of the bag to be unpacked; including a bunch of bananas, six of them, awaiting their turn. But that’s a story for another snack.
