“But heed mah words weel man! If 'att is Commander Galligan ower thaur on 'att vessel, an' Boy Tipper, an' ye lose them...” he paused as he turned towards him and a dark expression spread over his face, “Ahh'll have Officer ErticalOne himself flog ye on th' main mest until yer shirt runs red!"
Ickied swallowed hard as he listened to the warning, then nodded and saluted before turning and leaving.

[On the Bay of Badjanani…]
Captain Callum and First Mate Dax stood on the bridge of the Grand Bank as the sun began to set. Suddenly the crowd of angry natives on the shore began to quickly disperse back towards their village. In another moment the shoreline was deserted.
“Cowardly primitives!” Callum barked as he watched the last of the natives disappear into the jungle, “I thought they’d at least put up a wee fight! I would have liked to fire one of our nine-ponders into their midst!”
“Strange it is. I guess they have no fighting spirit.” Dax agreed.
“It’s just as well. We’ve got bigger worries than a bunch of ragged natives to worry about! Slane is just miles to the east, and with luck he never spotted us entering this bay. The less noise we make the better for the next day or so. By then, he should be well aways from Comoros!”

The last rays of the sun found the crew of the Silverton scurrying. The Captain and Cockpit Mate- Midshipman’s Mate Fisky both stood in the center of the main deck. A great assembly of crew gathered around them.
“Officer Fisky…call out your choices!” The Captain said loudly as he eyed the crew.
Fisky stepped forward with a parchment sheet and began calling out names…
Junior Petty Officer- Cooper Ickied
Junior Petty Officer- Gunner’s Mate Spinny
Junior Petty Officer- Boatswain’s Mate Azzuar
Seaman- Carpenter’s Crew Ilipino
Seaman- Carpenter’s Crew Repperbot
Seaman- Carpenter’s Crew Ilver Medicine
Seaman- Able Seaman Evsup
Seaman- Able Seaman Ouncil
Seaman- Able Seaman Knowledgment
The men all stood at attention as Fisky finished the call. The Captain then stepped forward and walked the line-up, nodding to each man as he passed. Then he turned and addressed the group…
“Men, yoo've aw bin chosen fur yer coorage, yer loyalty an' yer skill. Though yoo've ben chosen, ye all have also accepted thes mission. Ahh allowed 'att consent due ta th' danger involved. Ye may noot aw come back alife."
The men all tensed a bit as the Captain made his point…
“Ye will go ashair nine strong! Daggers an' swords, no muskets. Ye will cross Th' western peninsula of th' bay an' enter th' waters on th' other side in stealth...yoo must not be detected!" He said in deathly seriousness, “Once in th' water, ye will make yer way ta th' Grand Bank an' board 'er. Fin' th' Scottish Officer an' th' Loon Tipper. Git them off th' vessel ta safety first, while the rest of ye men are ta kill… as many thievin', evil bastard thugs of Callum’s crew as ye can!"
The entire crew of the Silverton stood silent as the Captain spoke…
“Do ye all understand what thes raid is ta accomplish?" He asked.
“Aye Sairrr.” “Aye, Aye Sairrr.” “Aye.” “Aye...”
The Captain then straightened as he face them, “Junior Petty Officer- Cooper Ickied” will lead thes raid. Ye all will tak' orders from heem until yoo're back safely on board."
Across the way, Senior Petty Officer- Caulker ErticalOne raised an indignant eyebrow, but said nothing.
“Inta th' longboat! Dare noot fail me men! Gawd’s speed!" The Captain’s voice bellowed as the ten brave men poured over the side of the ship and into the waiting longboat below!
In a moment, the heavily laddened boat disappeared into the dark of night and all that could be heard was the splash of their oars.
