Hello Steemers!
Today I would like to share with you information related with military and police shoulder patches which my dad have colected. In today’s society, shoulder patches often showcase authoritative positions – many military or police members wear shoulder patches that display their rank or country flag. Army shoulder patches, officially known as shoulder sleeve insignia (SSI), are worn on the upper left arm of the Army combat uniform. The different symbols, badge characters, heraldry symbols, heraldic symbols, national colors and names are usually use in shoulder patches. Here are some photos of these shoulder patches:
Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation (FSS is former USSR's KGB). Under Russian federal law, the FSS (FSB) is a military service just like the armed forces, the MVD, the FSO, the SVR, the FSKN, Main Directorate for Drugs Control and EMERCOM's civil defence, but its commissioned officers do not usually wear military uniforms. Shoulder patches were often designed with intricate designs including bright colors, when created. Because these bright colors and designs risk standing out when a soldier is in combat or in hiding.
