So over the christmas break I spent some time at home and during that week I spent a few days at my girlfriends family's place. Now for the sake of keeping everything in line I will create some pseudonyms for her family. Her 17 year old sister will be Pam, her dad Dave, her mom will be Linda, and her 4 year old sister will be Bell, my girlfriend I will call Mel (I didn't ask her if I can post this and it would be rude if they didn't want me to talk about this and it could be brought back to their real names). Anyways this is actually 2 stories from over the break, one which is background on the family and the second is specifically how I messed with Pam (and friends) more or less without them realizing it.

Part 1: Background

So everytime I go over to their house I am completely surprised by the lack of independence in the household. Pam (17 years old, almost 18) was sitting less than a meter (~3.3ft) from the sink with a glass in her hand yelling at her dad (downstairs) to get her some water, from the sink. She yelled until her dad came and got water for her before he went back to getting ready for work. So I don't know about anyone else but had I ever done that with my parents I would have been slapped and yelled at. This wasn't a one off event, it happened pretty much constantly. Now even my girlfriend would do this kind of thing but the reason for this background is so yo can understand why everything worked the way it did. Before going into the second part I will introduce why it happened. So my girlfriend wanted to play a prank on her sister since she had friends over and she couldn't come up with any decent pranks. While listening to them we heard them talk about watching scary movies and trying to scare eachother so I suggested cutting the power to the room by flipping the breaker. So we ran downstairs (where we could hear them talking about it even better) and hit the breaker.

Part 2: The Prank

Now i know what you are saying, flipping a breaker isn't a good prank since they can just flip it back but we are talking about someone that refuses to do anything for herself. So the breaker killed the lights and we flipped a second one to kill the outlets in the room. This was entertaining because they came downstairs and started to flip a random breaker then run back up as a group (the breakers had a label not even 30cm to the right) and I would run in undoing everything they were doing (because they flipped the kitchen breaker which has the fridge on it and stuff). This went on for ~30 minutes before I flipped their breaker back on and left it. They came back down and sprayed cooking spray on a cold concrete floor and thought that I would slip on it. This is where things got quite funny because they flipped the breaker to the basement (where the router was) and actually restarted the wifi so they started to have wifi problems during the restart (which caused them to come running up and down the stairs a few times thinking we messed with them, which led to one of them slipping in the oil they put on the floor) so by this point I figured I would do something more, well, evil. I quickly got on wireshark and found every single apple device (iphones), nintendo device (wii), and samsung device (android phones) and one by one started to death them with aircrack preventing them from connecting to the internet with exception of my own phone. After a couple of minutes I wrote up a quick bash script that wold continuously deauth all of them at random intervals (running as a single thread rather than 11 different threads) before sending a router advertisement (from my computer) spoofing to make a MitM attack operational. This worked purely because they kept disconnecting and reconnecting and I have an external wireless card that was able to overpower the router so they connected to my wifi instead of the regular wifi. At this point I had a single thread running for each operation so I instead modified the bash script to ignore sending deauths to any that are connected to my machine limited connections to the phones only (as they were watching netflix on the Wii which was being deauthed) and this is when they decided they wanted to go to bed, they were fed up with the wifi not working. I know this isn't the most interesting of pranks but it was fun and entertaining.
