The time traveler

If you live in a small town like me you get used to see the same people. Even the crazy ones that need help yet nobody cares in this town. There is one guy we like to call the time traveler. A misterious old man with long white hair and a moustache.He looks like a steampunk character and is mostly wearing a trench coat.

My friend & I would run into hin every day we go out.The time travaler would appear behind evry dead angle and come out from every door we would cross.It was just weird.He was allways smiling.We made up a whole story how he travels trough time. He has a significant pocketwatch so it seems logical that this is the device he uses.And if he realy is a time traveler and all story we made up are true after all,what kind of adventures is he going on.Well one night we had a few drinks.We were just a lil bit drunk.It was a poetry night and we were having fun.So it was past midnight and we were leaving and as we stepped out from the building he passes by. „Dude its the time traveler“ my friend said. „We should just ask him!“ and i was like „fuck it lets do it“.So we run after him and we stop him.So many things were crossing my mind like come on there is no way in hell that he is a time traveler but what if?As he turned around we tought he would be like „what do you want from me“ or „fuck off kiddos“ but we got a nice „how may I help you“ and a confused look.So I said „we have a crazy theory that you are a time traveler“.Now I was thinking this is the moment he tells us to fuck off but no.He gave us a smile and said „But kids,we are all traveling trough time“turned around with his smile and left.Ofc me and my friend were freaking out thanks to the influence of alcohol and a healthy imagination.But yeah the weird time traveler dud tought me that we are all traveling trough time and that we dont need a time machine to go on adventures.
