The Bowman, The Ant and The Dove - STORY FOR CHILDREN.

One day an ant was walking by the side of a river. He searched for food all day. So he was tired and thirsty. His thirst became so acute that he couldn’t take it any longer. So he decided to drink water from the river. But the tide of the river was huge and dangerous at least for an ant. The ant thought for a moment if he should take the risk to drink the water from the river. And he decided to do so. He went near the river to drink the water. But a huge tide came and took him along with it in the dip water. He was trying to swim and shouting for help. As time passed he became more tired and couldn’t swim no more.

A dove was sitting on a tree by the river. He heard the ant shouting for help. The dove didn’t know how to help that little ant. But he wanted to help so he thought for a moment. And an idea just came to him. The dove took a leaf from the tree with his beak and drop it in the river near the ant. Then he shouted to the ant and told him to get on to the leaf and he will pull him out.

The ant was really tired and he almost was going to give up hope and then he heard the voice of the dove and he started swimming again. And he was successful to get on to the leaf. As soon as the ant get on to the leaf, the dove came down flying and took the leaf in its mouth and brought it to the dry ground.

Thus the dove saved the ants life. Thanking the dove for saving his life the ant head back towards his home.
The next day a hunter came to the forest to hunt with a bow. He searched the whole forest to hunt something but he couldn’t get a right angle to shoot at something, until it came to see the dove sitting on a dead tree. He aimed his bow to the dove to shoot it.

The ant from the other day was passing through the same place and he saw the bowman aiming for the dove that saved his life the other day. So he decided to find a way to save the dove. The ant shouted at the dove to fly away but the dove was far to hear the ant. So the ant went near the bowman and climbed his leg and bite in his leg.

The bowman was about to shoot the dove but by getting beaten by an ant he lost control over his aim and his arrow went off but couldn’t touch the dove.

And the dove became aware of the bowman and fly away.

Thus an ant and a dove saved each other’s life.

MORAL OF THE STORY: when you help someone you always get back some help for yourself.
