My Dearest Kate,
The day that you come is a realization that I must be tough.
I am ready for this. This is it! Let’s Rock n Roll.
I was young but I had no fear of having you.
I was so excited. My mother is more excited she always do something to prepare for your coming.
I remember she wake up every morning and pick mango around the house from those trees nearby us..
Ha-ha.. it is always like that everyday so when I wake up I had those mango for my daily diet.
My father come home from fishing and brought some fish for me and always had my plate full of nice fresh and healthy food.
You’re loved by everyone
On the day, you come at the hospital everyone was there to witness, waiting for you. Your father was there and my whole family an off course our neighbors ha-ha. I remember your father said… “Aguy magbantay gyud mga lalaki sa
ako maka patay man gyud ko ani” Kagwapa sa akong anak.
Aha! Guys should think twice. My daughter is so beautiful and I would kill anyone who will going to break her. Haha
He never stopped looking at your face. And he said She look like me ha-ha.
Oh! She looked like my mother also
You loved by everyone.
I remember your birthdays you have 3 cakes ha-ha it was always like that, from my mother, from mommy Asing andfrom me. ha-ha
My parents and your father mom always travel and see you on your day. Bringing some foods and gift.
But sadly, my mother passes away you know how she loved you so much and you always remember her.
She surely proud of what you become now. She always had time to carry you in her arms, even she was so tired.
Wash all your baby clothes and makes some Pajamas so no mosquito bites and look at your legs now. ha-ha wow legs! I always heard your father says “put her Pajamas I don’t want her to have legs same like yours ha-ha!
SCARS and PAIN are common, without pain you will never be strong. Pain is a part of growing up. It's how we learn.
“Pain is a gift. Humanity without pain, would know neither fear nor pity. Without fear, there could be no humility,
and every man would be a monster. The recognition of pain and fear in others gives rise in us to pity, and in our pity
is our humanity, our redemption”.
Kate, I know I broke your heart! You’re in love with me ha-ha and to your father. I am sorry for breaking your
heart but I hope you understand me and it doesn’t mean that I don’t care. I do I really do but this is me.. You can’t
changes me haha.
But Kate I have faith in you. I know your heart and your dreams. I am so proud to be your mother I know that you will
success in life. I let you fly and be free..
You are what you are, my Kate you are the perfect daughter that could anyone dream.
And I hope you would continue to be the Kate that I know.
I remember before we sleep, I always tell you a story every night you keep asking me about the story so I always
make some story.
Fairy tales, movies, my childhood life, your favorite scary story. I made BS story too ha-ha.
“ Mama tell me a story” with those small voices and we always do that every night before you sleep and when it’s done, you never stop asking questions until.
I said okay sleep Kate.. it is easy for me to put you asleep when I say sleep now.
I hold your finger and play the tip of it and you just close eyes.
They said playing the tip enhance the brain development.
Dream Kate, don’t stop and don’t limit it.
Finish your study and so you can go further. Don’t look what I have my failures, do something that is different and be successful.
Your 18 now and when I was that ages I been so hard headed to my parents and want to show I could decide for myself.
Oh please. Your still my baby please listen to me.
One day you will thank me. I heard this before to my parents and my mother in law. But we were so hard headed.
My life is lessons for all of you don’t be a typical hardheaded teenager. Dream higher! Your parents’ life and problem
is not a hindrance to be successful .This is your life you decide for it and don’t feel bad about their failure. Make your life better.
Not because your 18 you have the freedom to decide you can but be wise because there is so much life
after 18,
19, 21,25
to 30 and so when your 40..
You look back and say.. I made it right and I don’t have regrets.
Enjoy your life and make some good memories.
Please don’t look for the forever because even me still don’t see my forever ha-ha! Joke so Kate Enjoy.
Love is a sacrifice. You must sacrifice for the people you love. You could even give your life.
I love you so much and I hope you will always be my baby.
Someone will come that is perfect for you, value your family and friend.
I hope you would feel the love from me and from your father. We love you so much.
Life is always not perfect always sees the sacrifice of your father for you. He loves you so much.
You are my little girl that smiles a lot and always asking me when your young. Mama An An are you okay? And you
always comfort me tapping my shoulder like a grown up!
And that small lovely voice. You do always sing a song for me until we sleep. You always please me with your good grades and values. You grow up as a fine lady.
You are never a pain to me. You always make me proud but remember.
MISTAKES are ways for us to learn and do not be scared.
Mistakes are proof that you're trying.
Never regret anything that has happened in your life, it cannot be changed, undone or forgotten. So take it as a
Lesson learned and move on. :)
"Kate, I am sorry I am not there with you on this special day! When I come home we will have a big celebration.
My dream debut for you and for me!
It is always my dream to join a debut ha-ha specially your debut.
I love you and I know even if I wasn’t there you will survive. You have strong heart! This is your training ground in life
ha-ha. Kiss baby love you.
Kate, one day we will see again and I would hug you so close and kiss you. You’re from me and you’re my blood, my
flesh, my heart and my soul ha-ha!
