The rain had turned into a storm, the clouds where so thick with darkness turning the afternoon into night.
Few blocks from my house I was completely soaked because the wind had turned my umbrella ☔ upside down and it felt like the storm could also pull me away..luckily, I was happy to see that the salon I usually make my hair was open. I immediately ran in to take cover, everyone in the salon was packing and adjusting because the salon had turned into a city of refuge for passserbys.
10minutes later and the rain was getting heavier with thunder and lightening reflections all over.
All of a sudden it felt as though someone was pouring stones on the roof of the salon, it persisted for a while so I decided to go closer to the door and see for myself...
What I saw was amazing "Ice from the sky " I had never seen it before. I picked some of the broken ice and it felt like I just got it out from the refrigerator and within that time frame larger ones were falling from the sky!
I reached out to get my phone but, my battery was too low to take a picture. But, I was glad to see ice from the sky, something I longed for as a child!
although the storm destroyed lots of properties am grateful no one got hurt...
