The kind of Bambo village, king Alaga summoned all his subjects and it parliaments together on a faithful day telling them how he wishes and likes to pay Okomu village a visit, all these other animals were very happy in their king decision as it is another way forward. It was about four years since the kind had visited Okomu village last and that was after the land fight broke up between them which was immediately settled by the other neighboring villages, that was the secrets behind the Ekene female market. The only female animal market.
All the farmers in Bambo village brought numerous gifts of plantain, banana, fruits, yam and other farm crops for the king to take it to Okomu village as a present. King Alage was accompanied by his special adviser, Bojuri, the Hyena and the two chiefs, Ekun the Tiger and Kiniun the Leopard, the royal guards carried all the gifts items, and it was a beautiful visitation.

Dare comes Picolo, the tortoise, who was both greedy and wise and was also a lazy one. When other animals were busy farming and working very hard to survive hunger, picolo would go about doing nothing and ranting around doing nothing and as a result of this he had nothing to em back on and no food to eat.
One day the lazy picolo thought of nothing to do since he has no farm where he could go and get food from, so decided to dig a tunnel from his living room through the bush down to the market
As the market day proceeds, piccolo came to the market through the tunnel and hid in the bush close to the market as he was smiling at himself as he had surveyed the female animals exchanging goods and services for money, haggling over one its or the other.
Suddenly, as that day market was coming to an end the peoples of the begins to hear a mysterious sound and beat of an Oro drum continuously, a voice from nowhere begins to sing to the Oro beat like;
I'M THE TABOO OF THIS LAND
THE TABOO TO THE FEMALES
RUN....... RUN, RUN.... RUN..... RUN
THE MOST FEARFUL MASQUERADE
HAS LANDED
RUN, RUN, RUN, RUN, RUN
DON'T LOOK BACK OR ELSE YOU WILL
DIE,
I HAVE COME WITH A WHIP TO LASH
RUN, RUN, RUN, RUN.....
Immediately the oro masquerade appeared everyone in the market begins to run helter smelter.
Traditionally, the people of Bambo believe no female animals should see the oro or else she will die along with all the females in her family.
They are all very scared, screaming and all closing their eyes not to see the oro masquerade as they ran out of the market in panic, forgetting all their goods and money behind and "it was a race of life as no one among the animals bothered about her wares".
The very masquerade comes out in a happy mood and dropped his drum then brought out a very big sack to pack all the food in the market and money as much as he could.
Later he disappeared into the bush laughing to himself for his succession plan and it succeeding the mission.
On the next Ekene market day, the same thing happened has Oro appeared again and packed all their money and belongings, picolo was very happy as he chooses to be the sudden Oro masquerade to threatening the females in the market and rube them their possess.
