EXORCIST- Episode 7

Comfort looked up at Isaac whose eyes were closed.

'You came for me.'

Isaac opened his eyes.

He wasn't dead.

He looked into Comfort's eyes and he felt a refreshing happiness. He had somehow managed to save both himself and the pretty little lady. Or had they both died and were in heaven? Because what he saw in he eyes was...

Isaac opened his mouth to say something but Comfort must have mistaken it for him trying to kiss her because she immediately locked her lips in his and engaged him in a warm kiss.

'What was that for' Isaac asked after Comfort released his lips which she kept imprisoned momentarily.

'Thank you.' She whispered.

Charlie jerked up from his forced sleep. He looked around,his mind was clouded and his head still hurt from where Richard had clubbed him. He said a silent curse to Richard when he remembered what had happened.

He was about to get up when Lucky swooped down at him. For once since he had known Lucky, he got startled by the ghost man.

'Woah,big guy. It's just me.' Lucky said.

'Damn you scared me.'

'Yeah. For the first time in years.' Lucky didn't have the mischievous look he was known for. In fact,he looked serious. 'Look,we don't have time. While you were sleeping,I was busy exploring the house.'

'And?' Charlie asked expectantly.

'I found the contract.' Lucky started. 'I first thought it was odd for it to be in plain sight. But then I thought, Daniel must have located it through a demon contract GPS thing because he was possessed.'

'Seriously, Lucky. Where's the contract.' Charlie said,impatient.

'As I was saying,he must have found it before we got here and had been drawing the pentagram to call a bounty hunter to claim the reward.'

'I'll strangle you if you don't tell me where the contract is right now.' Charlie almost screamed.

'Dude,you can't even if you wanted to.' Lucky teased. 'All I'm saying is. This contract thing has escalated more than we can imagine. Demon bounty hunters are like agents of apocalypse. Whenever they are opposed,cities and nations are always bound to fall.'

Charlie face palmed. 'I promised to restore you to your normal human form. The contract is the key. So,where is the contract hidden?.'

'You're standing on it.' Loki simply replied.
Charlie looked under his feet and examined the rug he was standing on. It had been recently moved. He went to one end of the room and pulled it up.
The concrete on the floor had been smashed in and in the middle of the little crater,he found a box.
The box was longer than it was wide. It had red and black marking and at one edge of the box,he found the mark of Exorcist.

Rumor had it that an unknown exorcist stole the contract from the Council of Exorcism. The contract was said to be very powerful,granting demons as well as corrupt exorcists that would dare to use its quirks excessive control over the realm of humans. The exorcist who had been a good humanitarian had decided that humans deserved their free will and had thus hidden the contract somewhere in the world.

Charlie opened the box and saw the contract.
It was a scroll with golden cuffs at either end. The white scroll had turned Brown with age and Charlie felt a sudden urge to open it. To use the power contained in it to ; cure cancer; destroy all demons; rule the world and be king of the planet.

He crouched beside the open box and was about to pick up and open the scroll when he heard the scream. He was certain he heard Angela's voice yelling. It was then realization dawned on him that he had left a house of clueless civilians with a possessed man.

Charlie cursed Richard one more time as he put the scroll in his jacket pocket,thoughts of ruling the world forgotten.

He ran towards the sitting room,his heart thumping as he kept on praying in his mind.

'Please be Ok.'

'He's dead.' Comfort muttered after raising her head from Horlah.

'And you're next.' Castiel smirked. He started walking towards the fearful Comfort.

Isaac stood in front of Comfort and faced Castiel.

'If you want her,you have to go through me.' Isaac said boldly.

'Fair enough.' He continued his casual stroll towards the duo who were paralysed with fear.

'You know... Love,that emotion makes humans weak. The ability to foolishly love someone who is not you.'
He raised his right hand for a gesture but he was knocked senseless by the next action.

Angela ran from the other side of the room after picking up a baseball bat. She slammed the heavy weight into Castiel's head with all her might,hoping to end it.

It didn't have the desired effect.

Instead,an extremely pissed Castiel looked back at her, his dislocated neck snapping back in place as he sent a back hand slap into face which caused her to fall.

Castiel picked up the baseball bat.

'So you still have some fight left in you. Hmm,very well then'.

Richard ran forward to tackle Castiel in an attempt to rescue Angela. His effort was rewarded with a club to the face and two more to the back.

'You all don't get it? Your world is about to end. It's the time of demons now.' Castiel snickered,cracking his neck. 'This world is all about survival of the fittest. Once the higher demons get hold of the Pilgrim's contract. We'll come out of a millenia of hiding in shadows and tormenting the weak. A life of being talked about and written about as folklore,fiction to scare little children. We'll dominate this world.'

While talking,Castiel had been moving towards Angela who was crawling on the floor in pain trying to run away.
He raised his hand to smash Angela's head with the club.
