Interesting story from the village.

Hello friends, I have an interesting story to share with you today and I anticipate your wonderful response.
It was a cool lovely evening and I sat under a tree in the village, this has become my favorite spot in the village as it happens to be a place with the best network service.

I noticed some people started gathering in front of the house of the head of village(they call him Baale).
There was a case to settle, and usually the community leaders and the Baale will settle the issue.

I sat properly in order to get the full story of the event and I am definitely going to share it with you.
It was a big issue within a man and his wife. This man has two wives but the current problem was between him and the first woman he got married to.

They have obviously been having issues for a very long time, the man had chosen the second wife over the first and he has abandoned the first wife in the process.
He does not eat the food prepared by the first wife, he does not drink her water either and this wife has been keeping it in mind for a long time.

However, the real problem started when he asked her to leave his house, she stood her ground and confronted her husband, she told him she was going no where, she reminded him of how they built the house together, and she also reminded him of the fact that, it was her parents fortune that got them to level that they were.
Her mother in-law however got upset by this statement and the case was taken to the council of elders in the community.

The most shocking part of this story is the way and manner the situation was handled.
The village elders placed the blame on the woman stating that a woman must be subjective to her husband and know that everything she had belongs to him.
She was asked to kneel and apologize to her husband in the presence of everyone while the mother in law called her names.
The husband was also told to act fairly amongst the wives and love them equally.
