My dad is very busy

Alberto's father was a very important and very busy man who worked so many hours that he often had to work on weekends. One Sunday, Albertó woke up early , and when he heard his father open the front door to go to the office, he ran to ask him:

"Why do you have to go to work today, Daddy? We could play together" ...
" I can not. I have some very important issues to resolve" .
"And why are they so important, Daddy?"
" Well, because if they go well, they will be a great business for the company".
"And why will they be big business?"
"Well, because the company will earn a lot of money , and I may be promoted."
"And why do you want to be promoted?"
"Well, to have a better job and earn more money"
"How good! And when you have a better job, can you play more with me?"

Alberto's dad was thoughtful, so the boy continued with his questions .

"And why do you need to earn more money?
Well to be able to have a better and bigger house, and so that you can have more things ."
"And why do we want to have a bigger house? To keep all those new things?"
"No son, because with a bigger house we will be more comfortable and we will be able to do more things"

Alberto hesitated a moment and smiled.

"Can we do more things together? Great! Then go fast. I'll wait for the years until we have a bigger house ."

Upon hearing that, Alberto's father closed the door without leaving. Alberto has grown very fast his father thought, and his dad knew he would not wait for him that much, and after a deep thought he realised that even with higher wealth acquisition he will have even more responsibility and end up shattering his sons hope of then been together.

So he took off his jacket , left the computer and the calendar, and as he sat down to play with an Alberto as surprised as he was delighted, he said:
I think the promotion and the new house may wait a few years.
