Batman vs Ironman and why I like the "Human" superheroes

As a comics fan, superheroes have been a permanent companion in my life. And now that this universe has been taken out to the big screen, even making more massive the comics audience; and of course the talking between comics lovers and non-lovers on the qualities of the different superheroes and how they impact especially the kids behaviors and life principles.

When I was young, most of the kids identified themselves with superheroes with inherited superpowers by born or some kind of genetic manipulation like Superman, Wonder Woman, Captain America, Spiderman to mention some of the most popular at the time. And the "human" superheroes like Batman, for example, were much less popular and to some extent victims of mockery in tv shows.

Kids and parents at that time mainly thought that being a superheroe implies not only supernatural capabilities but also a bullet-proof sense of moral and righteousness, almost lacking sensitivity with the others and the circumstances. There was no space for anger, fear or deception, or even doubt in their decisions. Everything was right or wrong. And for me, playing a superheroe like that was extremely difficult because that implies to control some of the most human feelings and instead of having fun, most of the time ended in frustration with my mates, because especially those playing villains had no problem expressing themselves and even changing the rules during the games, whilst those playing the superheroes have to refrain and accept the changes stoically, something very hard indeed.

Because of that I started to return to the "human" superheroes like Batman and Ironman, that depend on their wit to overcome the lack of superpowers but also do not resign to their human feelings and weaknesses, and even had the option to change the rules as their villain counterparts to reach their goals. Of course, these superheroes lead me to moral conflicts from time to time, because sometimes they acted more like villains cheating and lying. But at the end the general feeling when playing their roles was less frustrating than playing the other superheroes, because I had the opportunity to express myself more naturally.

And that freedom of expression, made other kids to start playing the roles of the "human" superheroes, and soon two factions appeared, the Batmans and the Ironmans. And from there a rivalry that has been growing to day, between the bat and the iron mans and womans, that have even raised mockery (e.g. Lego Batman Movie), on which is the best superheroe. Because they have created a league on their own, being now the most popular superheroes of the comics universe.
