Hello My Dear Friends

A few days ago, my son went out to play and came back with a cute Yellow little chick. When I saw that chick, the cruel cat in my mind started to stir, thinking about how much it would enjoy eating such things. It's like that cat is the enemy of these innocent creatures. I scolded my son a lot, but he didn't budge, insisting that he would take care of the chick. I had to remain silent in the face of my son's stubbornness.

I am a very sensitive person by nature, especially when it comes to animals and birds. I can't bear to see them suffer, which is why I am against keeping them as pets or at home. Because I know that if I keep them with me, I will become too attached to them, and then I won't be able to take care of them properly or protect their rights, which would be very regrettable.

Then, my son made a small cardboard house for the chick. During those days, my children's school was closed, so he spent the whole day with the chick. And I kept a constant eye on that cruel cat, making sure it didn't attack the chick. Then, the next day, my son brought another chick with green feathers.

I thought to myself, 'one trouble is enough, now there are two!' (meaning I was already worried about one chick, and now there are two!). But my kids were thoroughly entertained, and happy, so I kept quiet. One day, both chicks were on my bed, trying to snatch a empty wrapper from each other. It was quite amusing. I even made a video of that moment.

I'm sure you guys would have found this scene amusing too. A week passed like this. Now my kids had become quite fond of the chicks, and to some extent, so had I. My kids were taking good care of the chicks, but that sly cat was like a hacker trying to find a loophole in the firewall. And then, disaster struck. At 1 am, when I was engrossed in writing a post on Steemit, I heard the chicks cheeping and then...

That cat zoomed past me like lightning towards the chicks. It had done its job. The green chick had become its prey. I couldn't sleep that night, worrying about what I would tell my son in the morning when he would find out that one of the chicks was missing. But when morning came, my son looked around and only saw the yellow chick. Then he started crying uncontrollably. We had a hard time consoling him.

Now that yellow lucky chick is the joy of my children. But I don't know for how long... Because that hungry cat is still here. I've tried a lot to shoo it away, but it has made itself comfortable here. And maybe one day, it will make the chick its prey too. Let's see if luck is on the side of this yellow chick. Or...

Here the wolves play in the hen house and chase, cats live in peace and sit among them. The top of a cage placed over the chick can keep it safe for the time being.

Cats love to be where they are hated.

🍀❤️

You are very helpful and kind-hearted. But i am sorry to say people misuses this quality of yours.

And chicks aren't actually green in color. People dye them in different colors. These chicks are part of a business. Another interesting thing is that these chicks are given as prizes in a 20-rupee lottery. And also They are given in exchange for old items.

I have 2 of them in my home :-)

I gave up after seeing the winners. What a joke + proof the entries aren't read. I no longer give tips or advice, it's a wadte of my time.

Why dye chicks? They would call it animal abuse over here. Seems green isn't a lucky colour but I stick to green.
Are people happy to receive these chicks? Are they all female or do you end up with rooster to grill?

We have one left he doesn't feel too well since a few months. He isn't that old and my son's I prepared him the cat might die plus not pet it as rough a dog.

🍀❤️

Think carefully before taking a step back, because the loss will be yours alone. Many people have supported the community in building a strong foundation. Now that the community has progressed, it's not right to step back.

Very few chicks are lucky enough to survive. Otherwise, most of them either die or become food for cats. And young children like to keep them as toys because these soft and colorful chicks attract kids towards them.

That's a good thing that you've made your child aware of this. But children can be stubborn. They know how to get their way.

It's not stubbornness but more habit the cat always played hide and seek. Fingers crossed whatever it is will heal or he lives with it a few more years.

Honestly I have no idea why or how they made it. Bad gramnar, always absent elsewhere active. It beats me. I'll wait. I'm not in the whatsapp group so have to wait if they feel like telling me how or what. if not I ignore and if anyone asks I say the truth.

It's indeed commendable to allow children to engage in play, as it's extremely advantageous for their development.

Conversely, in communities WhatsApp and Discord, an eerie silence prevails, where individuals prioritize accumulating wealth over meaningful conversations.

I understand but it's not comforting.
