John Landers was part of a prodigal group of escapees’, everyone in that group has escaped from some of the best solitary confinement centres in the kingdom. That group was feared for its cunning prowess, to able to escape from any conflict without being caught. They were called Runaway. The one name the kingdoms police force feared above all else
John wasn’t just any mere runaway he was a departure. A depurate is a runaway who had never been caught in his live, nor in his 10 years of service to the renegade.
Alas John was exiled on wrong doings he didn’t commit, he was exiled on the account of stolen bread. He swears it was the rats. But the camp leader won’t believe him, and they dare exile him. He who served the renegade for 10 years, the renegade for heavens sake.
I take their oath, the oath of the apostate.
To never be caught, to never kill, and to always abide the truth
Whatever believes I may have held before don’t matter in the eyes of the truth
For the truth is always harder to except then a lie
Truth is often stranger then fiction. And may be the reason why must of us choose to become part the Runaway.
