Mox found himself again in the position of being dragged around the long and dark corridors. He wasn’t sure, but he thought the noticed some sympathetic looks from his handlers. Even the one with the broken nose.
Somehow, Mox started to have a bad feeling.
After a few minutes of dragging around the corridors, they were about to reach the room of the Butcher. A faint stench of blood was engulfing the whole area. The lieutenant knocked on the door.
“Butcher, you have a customer!” he said, waiting for a response.
He didn’t dare to enter the room without permission. Butcher was under direct command of captain James, and he was a bit eccentric about boundaries. One time, someone entered his room without permission and he left two fingers behind. Nobody dared to enter Butcher’s room after that without his say so.
The door opened and a small man, the size of a child, looked at them and let them in. He was one the two personal servants of the Butcher. The other one was beside Butcher, with a jug of wine in his hands, filling his cup.
The Butcher was having a meal. A big steak was in front of him and he was cutting it in small pieces.
“Good day. Wine?” he smiled, offering the lieutenant a cup of wine.
“No thank you” the lieutenant refused.
He didn’t want to stay in this room too much. While the table where the Butcher eat was clean, the rest of the room was filled with blood. On the wall, hanged by his hands, there was a man. On his body you could see lots of cuts and pokes. Mox could recognize this man. It was Tegway, one of his men.
Seeing the look on the lieutenant face, Butcher said with an upset voice:
“Don’t worry, cupcake, he didn’t die. Yet! He’s just unconscious. Now leave that sorry fella and get your candy ass out of my room. You’re ruining my mood!”
The lieutenant immediately made a sign to the handlers, that dropped Mox and the floor and left.
“Don’t forget the captain wants him alive for interrogation. Don’t make him unable to speak!” the lieutenant added before closing the door.
The Butcher took another bite from his steak, took a big gulp of wine, eying Mox from his table.
“Put him there,” he ordered his minions, pointing with his knife at an empty table.
The one that opened the door, stepped toward Mox and kicked him in his ass. He then grabbed him by the hair, forcing him to follow him, on his fours, like a pet. On the table, he tied Mox up, arms and legs, stretching them as long as possible. When he heard a groan from Mox he stopped.
Then he took a pot from a corner which had several pots and started to anoint Mox with a strange ointment. Mox immediately felt hi skin burn like hell and tried to keep his shouts in.
The Butcher continued to eat his steak and drink his wine, looking at the table were Mox was staying and watching like he was watching a play. A faint smile was on his face and his eyes had a strange glow of happiness.
After a few minutes, that felt like years for Mox, the minion took a whip and started to hit Mox with all his power. Since Mox was tied to the table on his back, the whip his belly and his chest.
A few hits later, Mox started to make some sounds because of the pain.
Hearing this the minion started to smile and worked even faster. Hit, after hit, after hit, blood started to appear on Mox’s chest.
“Stop!” The Butcher said, and the minion left the whip down.
The Butcher finished his meal. With a cup of wine in his hand, he went toward Mox and look at him.
“Welcome to my room! It’s a little bit small and doesn’t look that nice but is mine. The captain gave it to me when we arrived here. My name is the Butcher, what your’s might be?” he asked Mox with courtesy.
“My name is Mox!” he replied through his teeth.
“Welcome to Hell, Mister Mox!I hope you'll enjoy your stay!” the Butcher replied with a grin on his face, pouring the wine over Mox’s wounds.
