Deciphering such a word known to every people all over the world sounds really no big thing to do, knowing that it's not really that esoteric such word known as "music". Commonly heard, easy to spell, easy to understand that's the word music exposed. This contemporary term has come fro a very long journey back in the earlier times from its berth in the bible until its evolution in different languages as time went on.

But one thing that man does not know much about this word is that it is not succinct, it cannot be defined in just a word. Its definition relies on the perspective of a listener who tries to comprehend it deeper through his own ways and that what he funds out for himself is considered rectified and unquestionable. For music is how one sees it to be like.
A famous musician once quoted "if the word "music" is sacred and reserved for 18th and 19th century instruments, we can use a more meaningful term, organization of sounds." But music has never acquired sacredness nor had it been reserved for the 18th and 19th century instruments. And most of all, music is not an organization of sounds alone.
Music, oftentimes assumed by most people to be synonymous to a song, literally speaking is the art of arranging sounds in time so as to produce a continuous, unified and evocative composition with ideas and emotion with ideas and emotions in significant forms as through melody, harmony, rhythm, timbre and color. "The crashing of the waves", "the soft trickling of the rain on the rooftop" or any aesthetically pleasing or harmonious sounds or combination of sounds may also be called music.

The creation of music and discovery of the songs both owe their origin to a humanistic impulsion which lies much deeper than conscious intention, the need for rhythm in life. This need is a significant one, it transcends thoughts and it is neglected at our own peril.
Flying away further from the realms of literalness and diving deeper into the hollows of defining music, I have sought the wider world of more urbane understanding of what music really is.
A painting is a picture painted on canvas but music is a picture painted on silence. After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music. When words leave off, it begins to make its presence felt by flowing in trickles.

Music is poetry of nature in different ways. It reflects the condition of nature's elements, land, water and sky by means of sounds that penetrate the sensitive vicinity of our delicate ears.
Music is the mediator between the spiritual and sensual life. Once it is admitted to the soul, it turns into a sort of spirit and never dies. It cleanses the understanding, inspires it and lifts it into a realm which it would not reach if it were left to itself. It is an outburst of the soul, washing away the dusts of everyday life from our inner selves. Its language is something only the soul can comprehend but can never translate. It is indubitable that music induces in us a sense of the infinite and contemplation of the invisible.

"Music is the moonlight in the morose night of life." as I would quote it. Music produces a kind of pleasure in life which man cannot do or live without. It is the medicine of the mind and the broken heart. It is one of the best ways to enjoy life in the present times. It is not much fun expecting to hear music or to recall how a song sounded like during the passing days, but contemporary music pulls you in and places you right in the very moment. Most people find music as a sofa, get themselves pillowed on it and be consoled from the hustle and hurry world. However, there are still kinds of music which are not meant to be soporific.
Music is the shorthand of emotions, it's what feelings sound like. It is the art most nigh to tears and memories. It is the literature of the heart and love in search of words which commences where speech ceases. Take note, if a composer could say what he feels by merely speaking, he won't bother trying to express it in music. As what the remarkable poet Robert Browning once said, "There is no truer truth obtainable by man than comes from music." Music expresses feelings and thoughts, it is below and before aspeech and it is above and beyond all words.

I have my own particular depressions, loves, delights and you have yours too. But sorrow, happiness, hope and loving belong to all of us., in all times and in all places. Music is the only means whereby we feel these emotions in their universality.
Music can impart noble hints, engender fury and kindle love. And with unsuspected eloquence, it can impel and rule all of man with secret art.
Music is our own experience and thoughts from our own wisdom. If we don't live it, it would never come out of the shell.

Music is forever, it shall grow and mature with us as we age until the end of our lives but it will never die.
There is music in the air and there is music all around us, the whole world is full of it. We simply take as much as we want.
If it were not for music, in these days perhaps we might say "the Beautiful is dead."
