On this day 9 years ago our sister, Marwa El-Sherbini, was brutally stabbed 15 times in a German court room. The attacker was being tried for abusing her and her child in a playground. As her husband leaped to her defence during the attack in the court room he too was stabbed 16 times. Unbelievably when police turned up to the court room, they shot her husband thinking he was the attacker.
This case epitomises a lot about the situation of the Ummah. May Allah swt grant her the status to be amongst the Shuhadaa'.
