They continued humbly after this, but even now more than ten years after they had married, they had no other child to call their own.
A couple of times a friend or relation would come with sweet words to take adeola out to consult one renown local priest or the other who could help the barren get pregnant.
Kunle was always ready to pay whatever it would cost, but nothing happened eventually.
.
.
A day came, while he sat down thinking, he felt bored and tired of life. Kunle desired to be happy too; If It were possible,
He felt ready to give up all he had.
Mind you, he had nothing-for a full day of happiness, but he could not think of a way to go around this, he was sorely depressed.
That day, he manage to meet the target to earn his full day’s pay and people asked him

“baba labour, what is wrong?
Are you sick?”

Everyone knew that he was scarcely ill,
He hardly sick; A tall dark man, very strong, whatever the weather, he was always on the move. He slept that night in a terrible mood.
His wife adeola moved closer to him and trying to comfort him as mush as she could,
Nobody could cheer him till nature took him to the wonder land.

All of a sudden

In his dream kunle was with the village people at a fountain within the rocks with different sizes of bowls and metal buckets.
When it got to his turn to draw water, a voice spoke to him softly

“no kunle, not here”

He wondered who was speaking as he stepped forward with his empty bucket to fetch water

“go and meet your workmate segun: both of you have a mission to accomplish, the two of you shall go to the ifa priest(a diviner) in the next village; he will instruct you on how to get to iye- a village very far from here.
Your special blessings are there for you but know this: It's better to give than to receive.
Give always”

He woke up screaming and sweating profusely and scared and at the same time shaking as he opened his eyelids.
His wife asked with concern as she is also terrefied:-

“my husband what happened?”
“nothing”
He replied her shaking…
A little later
.
.
He woke up from his dream, he was frightened and he fainted.
She cried throughout the night not knowing what to do. Later he regained consciousness
And he fully recovered from the brief spell, she asked him in confusion what had happened.

“I had a dream. A wild dream”
He said
“What happened ?”
She asked again, as he narrated it.

Readily she encouraged him and they both went to see segun his work mate at the site.
They got to the compound where he lived.

“welcome”
Segun said
“I have been expecting you”

Kunle and his wife both looked at each other surprised.

“yeah, I see we are going on a long journey for our special blessings”

After they discussed for a while they set the next day as their departure day.
Kunle and his wife went back home where he packed the little things he had in a nylon bag.
And the following day, they went to the next village to see the great ifa priest, opebe
Opebe had his shrine and altar deep inside the next village.

Even though it took them only few hours to reach the village, it took them much more time to finally locate his shrine.
They knew their errand was divine because the priest was also expecting them.

“I received the call about three nights ago that two young men shall be led here today”

He said.

He had a big tough voice for such a a man with a small stature and frame. As he brought out a flat stone on which he tossed five split of kolanuts with incantations.
After a while, he removed them and started some colourful beads saying nothing.

“now, it is clear”

He turned to the men as they stood, looking at him curious about what he would say next.

“iye!… It is for sowing and reaping seven years down please”

After about an hour, he went into the bush around the shrine to get some shrubs and also brought out two skirt raven with palm fronds, with beads at the waistband.
He instructed them

“you too shall remove all your clothes here and put on these skirts.”

Then he marked their body and face with chalk, told them which way to go towards iye, barely a week long journey taking nothing except the little money on them.
They started out immediately trusting their their stars.

They would buy food if they see any or eat leaves and root people they met along the way would try and give them money and even clothes.
But they were earlier warned not to change their clothes.
So they simply kept everything till they reached iye.
While they were going..
.
.
.
Behold there shone a very bright light that could make someone go blind…
Kunle and segun both fell on the ground and bowed…
