Hello beautiful @steemit friends. Thank you all for following me. Today I am going to blog about how I got 100 followers. This is my first achievement as a stemmit user that I am finally being followed by beautiful users. Many peoples are joining steem because they think the will earn money by posting. Yes, they will earn rewards but the main reason for joining steem should not be earning money. According to my experience. Steem is a platform where we can share our thoughts. We can educate peoples by sharing our knowledge. And get educated by them by reading their blogs. As yesterday I was chatting with steem user and I told him that I am a student and I am learning he told me that he is a teacher and learning. Did I ask him how? He said that I was unknown about Desi Tea when I visited your post of desi tea I learnt from you that how to make it.. so learning is learning. Let us come to the point. Followers are basically learners. They follow us because they are getting knowledge from us.
Many users are following others just because of following back. It is a good but not perfect way. If you will follow 1000 for following back without choosing or reading their blogs, it's spamming. Always try to follow those users who are sharing interesting content. For example, if User A is sharing dirty pictures and has 5000 Steem power and if you don't like dirty pictures then please don't follow him. And If user B is sharing Good stories or knowledge and has 100 Steem power and you like stories then always follow B.
When I was very new on this platform in July 2017. I was invited by my friend to join steem. I was unknown about how to use and where to post etc. I posted 2 blogs about my travel and then I left for 6 months. When I came back in 2018 I saw that I have 30+ followers and 3 comments It made me happy. I was motivated and started posting again. So the main point is how I got 100 followers or my what is my experience about followers. When I started posting and engaging with other users by reading and commenting on their posts. I saw a result of 100 followers. But the main thing which I noticed is to post regularly and post about interesting facts or trends.
Finally, I want to talk about upvotes. According to my experience upvote ALWAYS done on quality content. 2 weeks ago I was posting shit and quality content. It means I was posting mixture. I was posting memes and also articles. My mind was that I will get a lot of upvotes and $$ but unfortunately, I got zero. My one blog among all of them got 1 upvote worth 17$ from @sjmstem just because of quality, not quantity. The second big mistake which I want to share is many users are doing exchange through Facebook groups. Which is nothing but only time waste. The users who are on Facebook have a vote value of 0.01$. So why to ask them for upvotes instead of making quality content and attracting big whales for upvotes.
I again want to say thanks to my all @steemit followers stay happy and peaceful. Thank you @steem for delegating me steem power. And my message to newbies is for God sake please don't go for shortcuts make the quantity of quality content and earn rewards also followers. For more valuable posts follow me and upvote me. I write about cryptocurrencies, the blockchain, travel and many more.
I don't much care about the number of followers. In fact, I regularly trim out my followers list when I find somebody whose content is trashy or non original or spammy in any way.
I DO care about engagement with my followers. I sometimes can't afford the vote (not enough VP, but I'm working on that) but I always comment on good content. Like this :)

Most of our followers are just the numbers. You will understand this after getting 500-1000 followers. It is a bit confusing when you have so many of them but you see only 5-10 people engaging with your content.

Thanks for your reply. You are right many peoples are following just because of follow back. But If we have 100 followers who really engage with us and read our posts it is worthy then 1000 followers who even do not open our post.
